Mohammad Hajjiri

Consultant in Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology

Mohammad Hajjiri, MD FACC FHRS FACP is an interventional electrophysiology consultant cardiologist with a published patent in treating cardiac arrhythmias using IGF-1. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation-USA and the Harvard Arab Alumni Association and was part of the NYU team to implant the first Micra leadless pacemaker in the United States.
 
Dr. Hajjiri completed his specialized medical education and training at Harvard, Tufts, and NYU and is extremely passionate about positive change in the Arab world. He started the medical elective rotation program that has so far helped more than 100 Arab medical students complete their elective rotations in the US and consequently match into top training programs such as the Cleveland Clinic. Students so far have been from Jordan, UAE, Iraq, Palestine, and Egypt. 
 
Dr. Hajjiri additionally runs “The Heart Clinic by Hajjiri” in Amman-Jordan which includes comprehensive heart care with access to the most up-to-date technologies. 
 
Dr. Hajjiri is active in online education on social media as well and continues to support medical students and graduates in the region.
