Dr. Alhamlan is a Consultant, Senior Scientist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, and an Adj. Professor at Alfaisal University. She is also a founder and Vice President of Rofaida Women’s Health Organization.

Dr. Alhamlan has obtained her higher education in the United States, majoring in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Thereafter, she was awarded a competitive one-year scholarship to join the Global Clinical Scholar Research Training Program in Epidemiology, Clinical Trials, and Biostatistics at Harvard Medical School. She has also successfully completed an EMBA from Harvard Business School in 2021.

During COVID-19, Dr. Alhamlan's team was the first in the Kingdom to develop an In-house COVID-19 Detection test, which received approval from The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) under the Emergency Use Authorization (EAU). She was also granted the MOH COVID grant during the pandemic. Dr. Alhamlan was honored with the Prince Saud Bin Naif Award for Cancer Research, where she secured the 1st Place Winner position in a competition organized by Johns Hopkins Aramco and the Saudi Cancer Society. She also reached the finals of the Recognizing Excellence around Champions of Health (REACH) Award, supported by the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Abu Dhabi, Nov 19th, 2019). Dr. Alhamlan received the Eisenhower Fellowship in 2018, the Women Pioneers in Health Sciences Research Award in 2018, and the Sayadati Young Saudi Female Scientist Award in Science and Medicine. She was also granted funding for her research in Women's Health and awareness campaigns.

Dr. Alhamlan serves on several advisory boards in the field of Health and Wellness. Additionally, she has made significant contributions to the scientific community by publishing numerous articles in prestigious journals.
