Alawi Alsheikh-Ali

Professor Alawi Alsheikh-Ali is a Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist and is the Provost and the Founding Dean of the College of Medicine and a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is a member of the Emirates Scientists Council, and a member of the Dubai Future Councils. He is also the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Group for the Dubai COVID-19 Command and Control Center.
He is a member of the Governing Board of the Emirates Cardiac Society (2010-present) and served as the President of the Society (2013-2016). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Heart Association, and is a founding board member of the Gulf Heart Rhythm Society. Professor Alsheikh-Ali is a graduate of MIT, Boston University, and Tufts University School of Medicine. He is an accomplished clinician and researcher, and a recognized leader in the field of arrhythmia management and cardiovascular research in the UAE and the Gulf.
