Hani Enaya
Partner, STV
An investor with a background in deep tech, Hani Enaya is a partner at STV, MENA’s largest venture capital fund. Hani sources and structures deals with businesses of interest to STV and supports their management after deal close, sitting on the board of many STV portfolio companies.
Prior to his work with STV Hani led investments in TAQNIA and Riyad TAQNIA Fund, a $120M venture capital fund focused on investing in technology startups in the fields of energy, advanced materials, and ICT.
Hani has served as the Director of the Center of Excellence for Green Nanotechnologies (CEGN) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During his time with CEGN, Hani co-founded Carbonics, a UCLA and KACST spinout that employs earth abundant carbon nanomaterials to vastly improve the performance of next-generation electronics.
Hani obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University where he graduated as valedictorian. Hani holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
